Tune: Sipping Cider. Mortimer has the hiccups. He's tried all sorts of cures but nothing's worked. Finally, he gets stage
fright and he's cured. Linda Darnell brings Charlie a present for Columbus day, a globe of the world. Song: You Do. Re-enacting
Columbus' departure from Spain. Queen Lindabella is smitten by Christopher (Charlie) who talks her out of her jewels, a kiss,
and the whole jackpot.
1952-11-09 - Marilyn Monroe (31:08) - 7.1mb Marilyn Monroe is going to marry Charlie. Bergen doesn't think
he's ready, Ray Noble is envious, and Charlie gloats. Song: The Live Oak Tree. Bergen wants Mortimer to take Charlie's place.
Meantime he prepares him to attend the wedding. Song: I'll Be Your Always. Bergen tries to explain the birds and the bees
to Charlie. At the chapel, Marilyn arrives. They talk about their plans for the future. The ceremony begins but Marilyn's
fans all over america protest their marriage so they elope instead, but the justice of the peace can't marry them because
Charlie has sap instead of blood.
